About me
Anybody who has had web-space made available to them in the context of different jobs, studies or hosting packages across several years, is probably familiar with the fact that (possibly) outdated information tends to accumulate over time on each of the websites maintained at these.
This website is meant to consolidate the information across these various sources and to provide correct and up to date information, instead of the scraps of information left scattered about the internet.

About this website
I am a PhD Student supervised by Remco Veltkamp, Marc van Kreveld, from the Multimedia and Geometry group, Department of Information and Computing Sciences at Utrecht University and Frido Kuijper from the Modeling and Simulation group at TNO Defence, Security and Safety in The Hague.
My research is towards automatic 3-dimensional reconstruction of real world environments from multiple data sources. Such data sources might be laser range scans, aerial and ground photography, topographical maps, digital elevation models and what else might be available for a given area. The main focus of my research is into the detection of geometric entities in such data sources and matching these between them.
The research is being carried out within the context of the GATE Project and more information on the research project can be found at the GATE Project page for the work package.
